Why replace the back glass?

Back glass is not only about looks: a broken cover can cut your hand and lets dust and moisture in. If one of these applies, the cover needs replacing.

Spider-web cracks

Lines spread from the impact point across the cover and grow over time.

Broken around the camera

The break is around the camera bump; the camera lens may also be affected.

Lifting at the edges

The cover is separating from the body. A swelling battery may be underneath, so it is checked too.

Sharp glass

Broken pieces are falling off or the surface is rough and scratches your hand.

Dust and moisture risk

A broken cover weakens the device’s protection against dust and water.

Wireless charging drops

If wireless charging works on and off after a drop, the coil under the cover is checked as well.

How it works

How a back glass replacement works

  1. Free diagnosis

    We check whether the break stays in the cover or has spread to the camera lens or the frame.

  2. Approval

    The cover option and colour are sent to you with the price; nothing you have not approved is done.

  3. Repair

    Broken glass is cleaned out and the new cover is bonded or, on some models, fitted into its screwed housing. The part goes on your invoice.

  4. Test and return

    After the camera, flash and wireless charging are checked, you collect the device in store or it leaves by partner courier or motorbike courier.

Data usually stays as it was during a back glass replacement; but every repair carries some risk, so you need to back up before handing the device over. Backups are the customer’s responsibility.

Part options

Which cover is fitted?

There are two options for the cover. Which one is available for your model, and in which colour, is explained at diagnosis.

Original back cover

The manufacturer’s own part; colour and finish match the device’s first cover. Availability varies by model.

OEM back cover

A cover made outside the manufacturer that fits your model. Any difference in colour or finish is shown beforehand.

After the cover is replaced, the device may not return to its factory level of water resistance; keep the phone away from liquids after the repair.

Is it risky to use a phone with broken back glass?

Broken glass can cut your hand and dust and moisture can get in through the cracks. You can use it briefly with a case on; we recommend not delaying the repair.

Is the camera lens replaced together with the back cover?

If the camera lens is broken too, it is replaced separately. On some models the lens is part of the cover; we tell you which applies to yours at diagnosis.

Do you replace back covers on Samsung and Xiaomi phones too?

Yes. Besides iPhone, back covers are replaced on Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, Realme and other Android phones. Send us your model and we will tell you the right part.

Does a back glass replacement affect wireless charging?

Wireless charging is tested before return. If the impact also reached the charging coil under the cover, we tell you separately at diagnosis.

Is there a warranty on a back glass replacement?

Back glass can break in a drop or knock, so back glass replacements do not come with a warranty. Try the camera and wireless charging yourself when you collect the phone.
