This notice is prepared under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for the Duty to Inform, to inform people who visit cepmarket.net, contact us to have their device repaired or receive service at our store about how their personal data is processed.

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Cezeri Bilişim Teknoloji Ürünleri San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. as the data controller. Cep Market, Teknoway and Telefon Sat are brands of the same company.

2. There are no forms asking for personal data

The site has no registration, membership or other forms that ask for personal data. The “Ask on WhatsApp” buttons only prepare a message with the model and fault you choose, in your own browser; whether you send it is up to you. We start processing your personal data only when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or at the store, or when you send us your device.

3. Personal data processed

Identity: your first and last name.
Contact: your phone number; your address if your device is collected or returned by post or motorbike courier.
Customer transaction: information about the device to be repaired (brand, model, fault, IMEI or serial number), diagnosis and repair records, quotes and message content.
Finance: the information needed to take payment and invoice replaced parts.
Transaction security: the IP address, browser information and time of visit recorded in server and security logs when you visit the site.
Preferences: your choice on the cookie banner and your language.

4. Purposes of processing

Diagnosing the fault, telling you the repair options and contacting you,
Carrying out the repair with your approval and invoicing replaced parts in your name,
Arranging the collection of your device at the store, by post or by motorbike courier, and returning it to you,
Providing after-repair support,
Meeting record-keeping, documentation and reporting obligations under the law,
Keeping the site and our information systems secure,
Showing the store map and measuring site usage and the results of our ads, if you give consent (without consent, Google receives only cookieless signals that do not identify you and nothing is sent to OpenAI).

5. Collection method and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected through WhatsApp messages, phone calls, transactions at the store, shipping and delivery documents, and automatically through the site (server logs and cookies). It is processed on the following legal grounds in Article 5(2) of the KVKK:

it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (c),
it is necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation (ç),
it is necessary for establishing, exercising or protecting a right (e),
it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f).

Optional cookies you allow on the cookie banner (“Accept” or “Settings”) are based on your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1)); you can withdraw it at any time from “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

6. Transfer of personal data

Your personal data may be transferred, only as far as the purpose requires, to:

authorised public institutions, under legal obligations and on request,
banks, to take payment,
shipping companies and courier service providers, to collect and return your device,
hosting and IT service providers that keep the site running.

When you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are carried over WhatsApp’s infrastructure, whose servers may be located abroad; if you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can also get information by phone or at our store. When you play a video on a page, the player loads from YouTube (Google), which may process data under its own rules. Site measurement uses Google Analytics, and ad measurement uses Google Ads: if you consent on the cookie banner, visit statistics and WhatsApp and phone taps on visits from our ads may be processed on Google’s servers abroad; without consent, Google receives only cookieless signals that do not identify you. If you allow ad measurement, the OpenAI pixel (measurement of ChatGPT ads) may also process your IP address, browser information and OpenAI cookies on OpenAI’s servers abroad; without this permission, nothing is sent to OpenAI.

7. Retention period

Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed and for the retention periods set by the relevant legislation. When these periods end, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Enquiries that do not lead to a repair are deleted once their purpose has ended.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it has been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7; to request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom it was transferred; to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

9. How to apply

You can send requests about your rights in writing to our address above, or through the electronic contact channels listed in the data controller details, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Your application should include your name, surname, signature (for written applications), Turkish ID number if you are a Turkish citizen (nationality and passport number if not), your address for notifications, your e-mail address if any, your phone number and the subject of your request.

Your application will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible, and within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
