Common repairs

HDMI Port Replacement

No picture, loose or broken port. When there is no picture, the HDMI port and video circuit are checked and repaired.

Fan and Thermal Service

Overheating, loud fan. For an overheating, noisy console the fan is cleaned and thermal service is done.

Power Supply Repair

Will not turn on or shuts down by itself. The power supply is repaired when the console does not start or shuts down.

Disc Drive Repair

Not reading or ejecting discs. A drive that does not read or eject discs is repaired.

Stick Drift Repair

Character moves on its own. When your character moves by itself, the controller’s stick module is repaired.

Motherboard Repair

Will not turn on, light blinking. Board-level repair for consoles that blink or do not turn on.

Saved data is usually preserved in HDMI, fan and power supply repairs; for disc drive or SSD replacements, the status of your data is discussed first. Back up before the repair starts (backups are the customer’s responsibility).
