Samsung J3 original screen: what should you ask?

An original screen means the phone maker’s part. As the Galaxy J3 family has different versions and screen types by year, first find your model number (it starts with SM-J3). As the J3 is an older model, ask which option is in stock; the type of part fitted should be on the invoice.

01The model number first

The model name and number are under Settings › About phone; on the J3 the number starts with SM-J3. If the phone does not turn on, check the label on the box or the invoice. As different versions were sold under the same “J3” name in different years, the right part is found by the number.
