Can cracked phone glass be fixed? Home methods put to the test

Cracked phone glass cannot be fixed at home: once glass cracks its structure is broken, and toothpaste, baking soda or liquid glass products do not join the crack. At most they hide very fine scratches. The real fix for a crack is replacing the glass or the screen.

  1. Clear tape. Covers the cracked area and stops pieces falling off.
  2. A new screen protector. Can slow the crack spreading and protects your hand.
  3. Case. Reduces the effect of new knocks.
