How to check how many GB your iPhone has

You can see how many GB your iPhone has on the “Capacity” line in Settings › General › About. Settings › General › iPhone Storage shows how much is used. If the phone does not turn on, the label on the box or connecting it to a computer also shows the capacity.

02When buying a used iPhone

  1. Check the capacity. Compare what the seller says with the About screen.
  2. Parts and service history. On supported models, replaced parts are listed on the About screen.
  3. Battery health. Check Settings › Battery › Battery Health.
  4. Serial number. Make sure the serial number on the box matches the About screen.
