01How a storage upgrade is done

  1. First call. We tell you the options for your model and the capacity you want.
  2. Backup. You make a full backup to iCloud or a computer.
  3. Chip replacement. The storage chip is replaced under the microscope with a higher-capacity one.
  4. Setup and test. iOS is installed and the device is tested.
  5. Restore. Your data is restored from the backup.
