iPhone 11 will not turn on: what to do

If your iPhone 11 will not turn on, charge it for at least 30 minutes and force restart it: press and release volume up, press and release volume down, then hold the side button until the Apple logo appears. If no logo appears, the battery, screen or board should be checked.

  1. Charge it. For at least 30 minutes with another cable and adapter.
  2. Force restart. Press and release volume up, press and release volume down, then hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. Check the screen. Call the phone; if it rings or vibrates, the screen is the problem.
  4. Recovery mode. If it sticks on the logo, connect to a computer and try “Update” in recovery mode; “Restore” deletes data.
