Phone “graphics card” chip repair: does a phone have a graphics card?

Phones have no separate graphics card like computers; the graphics processor is inside the main processor. A “graphics card fault” on a phone usually means the chips that drive the screen (display, backlight, touch) or the screen connection. These faults can be repaired by replacing the IC on the board.
