01What sets the value of a cracked-screen iPhone?
iPhones with cracked screens are bought and sold too, because a new screen makes the device usable again. The cost of a new screen is factored into the offer, so an iPhone with only cracked glass is valued differently from one whose picture has gone completely. An offer looks at five things:

02What to do on the iPhone before selling
- Back up. If the screen still shows a picture, back up to iCloud or a computer.
- Sign out of your Apple Account. If the screen cannot be used, remove the iPhone from your account at iCloud.com/find.
- Remove the SIM card.
- Have documents ready. Bring your ID and the invoice if you have it.
