How to use Find My iPhone

Find My iPhone lets you see your lost iPhone on a map, play a sound on it, mark it as lost and erase it remotely if needed. Turn it on in Settings › your name › Find My › Find My iPhone. Use it from the Find My app on another Apple device or at icloud.com/find.

01Turning it on

  1. Settings. Tap your name at the top of Settings.
  2. Find My. Turn on Find My › Find My iPhone.
  3. Find My network. Also turn on Find My network and Send Last Location.

Menu names vary by iOS version.
