iPhone 12 screen not showing: force restart and what comes next

If your iPhone 12 screen shows nothing, force restart it first: press and release volume up, press and release volume down, then hold the side button until the Apple logo appears. If no logo appears but the phone vibrates or rings, the problem is most likely the screen.

  1. Volume up. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Volume down. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Side button. Hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.

If the logo appears, it was a temporary freeze. If not, charge the phone for at least half an hour with an original or sound cable and repeat the steps.
