How to restore archived Instagram photos

Posts you archive on Instagram are not deleted; open the Archive section from the menu on your profile, open the post, tap the three dots and choose Show on profile. Stories sit in a separate tab in the same section. If you deleted a post, you can restore it from Recently Deleted for a while.

  2. Archive. Tap Archive in the menu at the top right.
  3. Posts archive. Choose Posts archive at the top.
  4. Restore. Open the post, tap the three dots and choose Show on profile.
