Samsung Galaxy screen colour problem and fix

If colours on a Samsung screen look yellow, blue or faded, check the settings first: Eye comfort shield, screen mode and colour correction in accessibility all change colours. If a screenshot looks right but the screen shows green or pink lines or stains, the panel is damaged and the screen is replaced.

02Step-by-step check

  1. Eye comfort. Turn off Eye comfort shield in Settings › Display.
  2. Screen mode. Try Vivid and Natural in Settings › Display › Screen mode.
  3. Accessibility. Turn off colour correction, inversion and filters under Visibility enhancements.
  4. Screenshot. If the screenshot looks right, the problem is the panel.
  5. Screen test. On many models the colour tests in the *#0*# menu show the panel.
