Samsung touch screen not working: what to do

If the touch screen on a Samsung phone does not work, first dry the screen, unplug the phone and force restart it by holding the power and volume down buttons together. If touch works in safe mode, an installed app is the cause. If nothing helps, or it started after a drop, the screen should be replaced.

  3. Force restart. Hold the power and volume down buttons together.
