SIM card detected but no network: causes and fixes

If your phone recognises the SIM but has no network, first ask your carrier whether the line is active. A phone from abroad cannot connect without IMEI registration; check it on e-Devlet. Set the network mode and operator selection to automatic and reset network settings. If it continues, check the antenna.

  1. Line status. Call your carrier to confirm the line is active.
  2. IMEI registration. Find the IMEI with *#06# and check it on e-Devlet.
  3. Network mode. Set the network mode to automatic in mobile network settings.
  4. Operator selection. Set operator selection to automatic.
  5. Reset network settings. Reset network settings from the reset menu.
