How to delete your Google history

You delete Google search history on the My Activity page in your Google Account (myactivity.google.com), where you can also turn on auto-delete. Chrome browsing history is kept separately and is cleared in Chrome › History › Clear browsing data. On a phone, open Search history from your profile in the Google app.

  1. My Activity. Open Google Account › Data and privacy › My Activity.
  2. Delete. Tap Delete and choose the time range.
  3. Auto-delete. Turn on auto-delete in Web & App Activity.
  4. Chrome. Clear device history in Chrome › History › Clear browsing data.
