iPhone swollen battery: how to spot it

When an iPhone battery swells, the screen lifts from the frame, the back bulges or the phone rocks on a flat surface. If you see any of these signs, do not charge the phone, turn it off and do not press on the screen or back. Over time it presses harder on the screen and housing; replace it as soon as possible.
