“Not registered on network” error and fix

“Not registered on network” appears when the phone cannot register with the network, so calls and SMS fail. Toggle airplane mode, restart the phone and reinsert the SIM. Set carrier selection to automatic in mobile network settings. If it continues, try the SIM in another phone and check IMEI registration.

01Step by step

  1. Airplane mode. Turn airplane mode on, wait a few seconds and turn it off.
  2. Restart. Turn the phone off and on.
  3. SIM. Remove the SIM, clean it and reinsert it.
  4. Carrier. On Samsung, turn on Select automatically in Settings › Connections › Mobile networks › Network operators.
  5. Network settings. Reset network settings; Wi-Fi passwords are removed.
  6. IMEI. See the IMEI with *#06# and check on e-Devlet that it is registered.
