How long does phone screen adhesive take to dry?

Drying time depends on the adhesive. Pre-cut double-sided tape holds at once; liquid adhesive grips quickly but usually takes a day or longer to cure fully, and the time is printed on the product. While it cures, do not press the phone, heat it or let it get wet.

  1. Do not press. Avoid pressure on the middle of the screen; let the edges sit evenly.
  2. Do not heat. Keep it out of the sun, hot cars and warm charging.
  3. Keep it dry. Do not use it in wet places or the bathroom.
  4. Report lifting. If an edge lifts, the adhesive has not fully held.
