How does a screen protector affect touch sensitivity?

A screen protector usually does not affect touch; problems start when the protector is thick, its edges lift, air bubbles stay underneath or it does not sit properly on a curved screen. If touch improves once the protector is removed, the protector is the cause; if not, the screen should be checked.

  2. Test the bare screen. Touch every area and the edges of the screen.
  3. Decide by the result. If it improves, replace the protector; if not, the screen or touch layer is checked.
