WhatsApp keeps crashing on Samsung: fixes

If WhatsApp keeps crashing on your Samsung, update the app and Android and restart the phone first. If it continues, force stop it in Settings › Apps › WhatsApp and clear the cache under Storage; this does not delete chats. Free up storage and make sure Android System WebView is up to date. 01Step by step

  1. Update. Update WhatsApp in Play Store and Android in Settings.
  2. Restart. Turn the phone off and on.
  3. Force stop. Tap Settings › Apps › WhatsApp › Force stop.
  4. Cache. On the same screen tap Storage › Clear cache.
  5. Storage. Free up space on the phone.
  6. WebView. Check in Play Store that Android System WebView is up to date.
  7. Backup and reinstall. Back up with WhatsApp › Settings › Chats › Chat backup, then reinstall the app.
