- Xiaomi screen brightness problem: dimming by itself? If your Xiaomi screen dims by itself or will not get brighter, auto-brightness, reading mode or battery saver is usually active. The phone also limits brightness when it gets hot. If the screen is dark or flickers with normal settings, the screen should be checked.
- The other person cannot hear me on my iPhone: causes and fixesIf callers cannot hear you on your iPhone, turn off Bluetooth and remove the case first. Then test each microphone: a voice memo tests the bottom one, a front-camera video the front one and a rear-camera video the rear one. If a recording is silent, that microphone is faulty; back up your data before the repair.
- What does “Service” mean in iPhone battery health? If the Battery Health screen on your iPhone says “Service”, the battery’s capacity has dropped significantly; the phone runs out faster and may shut down under load. It is not a fault alert but a recommendation that the battery is due for replacement. Back up your data before the repair.
- iPhone 15: the other person cannot hear meIf callers cannot hear you on an iPhone 15 model, turn off Bluetooth, remove the case and set the mic mode in Control Centre to “Standard” during a call. Test each microphone with voice memos and videos; if a recording is silent, that microphone is faulty.
- iPhone battery calibration: is it needed, and how?An iPhone battery usually does not need calibration; iOS measures the capacity itself and recalibrates when needed. Only if the percentage is wrong — the phone turns off at 30% or stays at 100% for long — can one full charge and full use cycle help. Calibration does not renew a worn battery.
- How much does a cracked phone glass repair cost? The price of a cracked phone glass repair depends on the model, the screen type and whether the display underneath is intact. If the picture and touch work, usually only the front glass is replaced; spots, lines or black areas mean a full screen. Send us your model and a photo for an exact quote.
- Touch screen moving by itself: how to fix ghost touchA touch screen tapping or scrolling by itself is called “ghost touch”. Dirt, moisture, a lifted screen protector and an unsuitable charger can cause it; if it continues once these are ruled out, the screen most likely needs replacing. Back up your data before the repair.
- iPhone 12 screen replacement and housing replacementWhen an iPhone 12 screen cracks, we first check whether the display underneath is intact: if picture and touch work, only the front glass is replaced; otherwise the full screen. As the back glass is part of the housing, a housing replacement is done when the back and frame are badly damaged. Back up first.
- iPhone screen dimming: causes and fixesAn iPhone screen dimming is usually caused by a setting: Auto-Brightness, “Reduce White Point” or brightness lowering when the phone gets hot. If the settings are fine and the screen is still dark at full brightness, the screen or ambient light sensor should be checked.
- Screen replaced but the touch is not working: why?Touch not working after a screen replacement is usually caused by a connection that is not fully seated, a mismatched or faulty panel, or damage during the repair. On some models, the chip that controls touch is on the main board; the problem stays even with a new screen.
- Coloured lines on an iPhone screen: causes and fixesGreen, pink or coloured lines on an iPhone screen usually mean the display panel or its connection is damaged. Take a screenshot: if the line is not in it, the screen is the problem. A restart and an update rule out software; if it continues, the screen is replaced.
- iPhone battery replacement: when and how?If Battery Health recommends “Service”, the iPhone turns off at a high percentage or the battery has swollen, it is time for a battery replacement. Data is usually preserved during the repair, but back up your data first; after it, charging, holding charge and the battery health screen are tested.
- Phone screen flex cable repair: signs and processThe flex is the thin, flexible cable connecting the screen to the phone’s board. A picture that comes and goes, flickering, or a screen that works when pressed can point to a flex or connection fault. On many models the flex is part of the screen and is replaced with it; on some it can be replaced alone.
- Light blinking on the phone screen: notification or fault?A blinking light on a phone is usually a notification feature: “LED Flash for Alerts” on iPhone, or flash or screen notifications on Android. It can be turned off in settings. If the picture itself flickers or cuts in and out, it is not a setting but a screen or connection fault.
- What sets the cost of a phone speaker replacement? The cost of a phone speaker replacement depends on the model, whether the faulty part is the bottom speaker or the top earpiece, and part availability. If the sound is quiet or muffled, cleaning the grille is sometimes enough; if there is no sound at all, the audio section is checked too. Send your model for a quote.
- What sets the cost of a mobile phone screen repair? The cost of a mobile phone screen repair depends on the model, the screen type (OLED or LCD), whether only the glass or also the display is damaged, and the part you choose. Part options (OEM, original or refurbished) are explained at diagnosis, and nothing is done without your approval.
- iPhone black screen and will not turn on: what to doIf your iPhone screen is black and will not turn on, first force restart it with the button order for your model and leave it on charge. If it vibrates or rings, it is working and the screen is most likely the problem. With no reaction at all, the battery, charging section or board should be checked.
- Phone screen flashing: causes and fixesA screen flashing white for a moment is often caused by a setting: some phones have a “screen flash notification” that lights the screen when a notification arrives. If it is off, check apps and software; if the flashing is random and frequent, the screen or its connection should be checked.
- “Unable to activate Touch ID on this iPhone” errorThe “Unable to activate Touch ID on this iPhone” message sometimes appears after an update and clears with a restart or by adding the fingerprint again. If it appears after a Home button replacement, note that the Touch ID sensor is paired to the main board and does not work with an unpaired button.
- iPhone losing charge while charging: causes and fixesIf the percentage drops while the iPhone is plugged in, it is using more than it gets from the charger. A low-power adapter or computer USB port, a damaged cable, heavy use while charging and heat are common causes. If it continues with another adapter and cable, the port, battery or charging chip should be checked.
