- How is a broken phone charging port repaired?A charging port repair starts with inspecting the port: if lint and dust have built up, cleaning is often enough. A damaged port is replaced; on most iPhone models the port shares a part with the bottom microphone, and on many Android phones it sits on a sub-board or is soldered to the board.
- iPhone 13 Pro Max front glass replacement: what sets the cost?If the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s 6.7-inch OLED display is intact, meaning picture and touch work, only the front glass can be replaced; this keeps the ProMotion display and True Tone. With spots, lines or black areas, the full screen is replaced. The price depends on the damage and the chosen part.
- iPhone will not turn on after a battery replacementIf your iPhone will not turn on after a battery replacement, charge it for at least half an hour and force restart it; the new battery may have arrived nearly empty. If it still will not start, the connector may not be seated, the battery may be faulty or a cable may have been damaged.
- How to clean corrosion in a charging portGreen or white residue in the charging port is corrosion, usually after moisture or liquid. You can gently clean light residue with a dry, soft brush while the phone is off. Do not use metal objects, water or liquid cleaners. If the pins are darkened or worn, the port should be replaced.
- Phone overheating and shutting down: what to doA phone turns itself off to protect itself when it overheats. Gaming or navigation while charging, sun and thick cases are the most common causes. Unplug it, remove the case and let it cool somewhere shady. If it also gets hot when idle or switched off, the battery or board should be checked.
- Xiaomi microphone problem: caller cannot hear youIf the caller cannot hear you on a Xiaomi, turn off Bluetooth, remove the case and make a short test recording. If the recording is silent too, the bottom microphone is faulty; on most models it shares a sub-board with the charging port. If you cannot hear the caller, the top earpiece should be checked.
- iPhone not recording audio: causes and fixesIf your iPhone will not record audio or recordings are silent, first turn off Bluetooth, remove the case and restart. Full storage can stop recording from starting. If another app is affected, check its microphone permission. If Voice Memos is silent too, the bottom microphone should be checked.
- What sets Redmi Note 10 Pro repair costs? The most common repairs on a Redmi Note 10 Pro are the screen, battery, charging port and back cover. The cost depends on the fault, the chosen part and any extra damage; the phone’s 6.67-inch AMOLED screen affects the cost most. Send the fault on WhatsApp for an exact quote.
- Inner display damage: repair cost and warrantyWhen the inner display breaks, the panel under the glass is damaged: you see ink-like spreading, black areas, lines or no picture. In this case the full screen is replaced, not just the glass. The price depends on the model and part. Accidental damage such as drops is usually outside the maker’s warranty.
- Phone antenna replacement and repairIf the phone loses signal only when held a certain way, or gets clearly weaker signal than other phones in the same place, the antenna or its connection may be faulty. Check the SIM, network settings and coverage first. After a drop, liquid or a housing replacement, the antenna connection should be inspected.
- New battery fitted but not charging: what to doIf a newly fitted battery will not charge, first charge it for at least half an hour; a fully empty battery may not respond at first. Try another cable and force restart. If it still will not charge, the connector may not be seated, the battery may be incompatible or the port may be faulty.
- How is a phone touch screen glued back?In the workshop, a lifting touch screen is glued back after the old adhesive is removed and the frame cleaned, using pre-cut tape or liquid adhesive, then left to cure under even pressure. Superglue can damage the panel and the screen cable. If a swollen battery lifted the screen, the battery is replaced first.
- iPhone power button broken: how to turn it onTo turn on an iPhone with a broken power button, just plug it in; an iPhone that is off turns on when it gets power. To lock the screen and restart while it is on, use the AssistiveTouch menu, and to shut it down, use Settings › General › Shut Down. The button is usually repaired by replacing the flex cable it sits on.
- Xiaomi touch screen not working: what to doIf the touch screen on a Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO phone does not work, first dry the screen, unplug it and restart by holding the power button. If a case or protector covers the top of the screen, pocket mode may block touch. If it still fails in safe mode, the screen or touch layer should be checked.
- iPad touch screen not working: how to fix itIf your iPad’s touch screen does not respond or lags, clean the screen, remove the case and protector and force restart it. Update the software. If only one area fails, or it started after a drop, the touch layer is damaged; on some models the front glass and touch layer can be replaced separately from the display.
- Samsung screen flex cable replacementOn many Samsung Galaxy models, the screen works through a main flex cable linking the main board to the sub-board. When this cable fails, the picture comes and goes, touch works in parts, or charging is affected too. The main flex can be replaced alone; if the screen’s own flex fails, the screen is usually replaced.
- iPhone not connecting to the internet: step-by-step fixIf your iPhone will not connect to the internet, first find out whether it is Wi-Fi or mobile data: check whether another device works on the same Wi-Fi. Toggle airplane mode, forget and rejoin the Wi-Fi network and check cellular data permissions. If it continues, reset network settings; your data is not deleted.
- Is it safe to use an original charger on another phone?A certified original charger can generally be used safely on another phone; the charger and phone agree between themselves on how much power to deliver. If the fast charging standard differs, the phone charges at normal speed. The cable must fit and be undamaged; cheap uncertified chargers are the real risk.
- Keyboard ghost image on the screen: is it burn-in?If a faint keyboard image stays on screen even with the keyboard closed, it is usually burn-in on an AMOLED or OLED panel. Static items that appear often, like the keyboard, leave marks over time. Temporary image retention fades in a few minutes; burn-in is permanent and is fixed with a screen replacement.
- Phone not seeing any Wi-Fi networks: how to fix itIf your phone does not see any Wi-Fi networks, first toggle airplane mode and restart the phone. If other devices nearby see the networks, reset network settings. If no network appears even after the reset, or the Wi-Fi switch will not turn on, the Wi-Fi antenna or chip should be checked.
