- Phone screen flickers then goes black: connection or panel? If the screen flickers and then goes completely black, the most common causes are a loose screen connection or a wearing panel. Check whether it changes when you press lightly, when the phone warms up or at a certain brightness. If the flicker shows in a screenshot too, the software is at fault.
- Phone dropped in the sea: how is it repaired? The effect of salt and sandSea water is more harmful than fresh water: its salt speeds up corrosion on the board and leaves residue even after the phone dries. Switch off a phone that fell in the sea, do not charge it, and get it to a repair shop as soon as possible, before the salt crystallises.
- Water spilled on your iPhone and touch not working: iPhone-specific stepsIf touch stops working after water spills on your iPhone, dry it and do not plug in a cable. When the iPhone detects liquid in the port, it can show an alert and stop wired charging. Water resistance is not permanent; if touch does not recover once dry, the screen or board should be checked.
- Can a swollen battery go back to normal? Myths and factsA swollen battery cannot be returned to normal. Swelling means gas has formed inside the battery, and this does not reverse. Freezing, pressing or puncturing do not work and are dangerous. The right fix is to unplug the phone and replace the battery.
- Huawei fingerprint sensor not working: fixes by sensor locationOn Huawei models the fingerprint sensor can be on the back, in the side power button or under the screen. The fix depends on where it is: a protector can cause trouble with in-display sensors, dirt with side buttons and scratches on the back. Delete your fingerprint and register it again first.
- iPhone 8 motherboard repair and replacement: mind Touch IDOn the iPhone 8, a motherboard (board) fault is often repaired on the board; a board replacement is the last option. Because Touch ID in the Home button is paired to the board, it may not work after a board swap. On an older model, weigh the repair price against the phone’s value.
- iPhone caller sounds distorted: earpiece or network? If the other person sounds crackly, choppy or robotic on calls, the problem may be the earpiece (top speaker) or the network. Listen to the same call on speaker: if speaker sound is clean, suspect the earpiece; if it is distorted on speaker too, suspect the connection or network.
- iPhone opening apps by itself: Back Tap and other causesIf your iPhone opens apps or menus by itself, it is not always a touch fault. Back Tap, Shortcuts automations, Siri or Voice Control can also do this. Check these settings first; if they are all off, touch should be looked at.
- iPhone weak signal: why it drops and how to fix itIf your iPhone shows few signal bars, calls drop or there is no signal indoors, the phone is not always at fault. First remove the case, try another SIM and check for a carrier settings update. If it started after a drop, the antenna connection may be damaged.
- Phone repair open on Sunday: if your phone breaks on a SundayIf your phone breaks on a Sunday, first message us the model and fault on WhatsApp; asking about the store’s status for Sundays is the right first step. Meanwhile, keep the phone safe and back it up; if you like, plan to ship it on Monday or use the motorbike courier within Istanbul.
- Phone screen flickering: low-brightness flicker or a fault? If the screen only flickers at low brightness, it is usually down to how OLED screens control brightness and is not a fault. Wavering that changes with brightness, or starts after a drop, points to a loose connection or a panel fault.
- iPhone side button not working: side versus volume buttons and a workaroundOn iPhones with Face ID, the side button on the right turns the phone on and off and also handles Siri, Apple Pay and force restarts. If the side button does not press, AssistiveTouch lets you lock and restart from the screen. The lasting fix is replacing the button or the cable underneath.
- Super AMOLED screen replacement cost: how it differs from LCDOn Super AMOLED screens every pixel makes its own light; there is no separate backlight. The panel is different from LCD, so its price is set differently too. If a compatible LCD screen is fitted to an AMOLED phone, the in-display fingerprint sensor may not work; ask about the options before approving.
- Can an iPhone motherboard be repaired? It depends on the faultYes, many iPhone motherboard (board) faults can be repaired; but it depends on the type of fault. Charging, audio or backlight IC faults and short circuits are often fixed on the board. With extensive liquid damage or faults around the processor, repair becomes harder.
- iPhone screen moving by itself: check these settings firstIf your iPhone screen scrolls, zooms or moves strangely by itself, first check the accessibility features that can do this: Zoom, VoiceOver, Voice Control and Switch Control. If they are off and the problem continues, touch or the screen may be faulty.
- How to tell your iPhone battery is failing: a Battery Health guideThe easiest way to see your iPhone battery’s condition is the Settings › Battery › Battery Health screen. If it shows a “Service” recommendation, or the phone shuts down by itself while showing charge, a battery replacement may be needed. A performance management message is also a sign of a worn battery.
- How long does a phone motherboard repair take? What decides itHow long a motherboard (board) repair takes cannot be given as one figure; it depends on the fault type, part availability and testing. A simple IC replacement and a fault that has spread after liquid contact do not finish in the same time. You are told the time after the free diagnosis.
- Screen responding without being touched: find the triggerA screen that responds without you touching it is called ghost touch. Sometimes there is a simple trigger: a poor charger, a lifted screen protector, moisture or an app. Rule them out one by one; if it continues, the screen’s touch layer may be faulty.
- iPhone 11 rear camera not working: test both lenses separatelyThe iPhone 11 has two rear cameras: wide (1x) and ultra wide (0.5x). Switching between them in the Camera app shows which one is faulty. If only one fails, it is that module; if both are blurry, the camera glass is usually the problem.
- Changing the iPhone back colour: just the glass or the housing? There are two ways to change an iPhone’s colour: replace only the back glass with glass in another colour, or replace the whole housing (body). If only the glass is replaced, the side frame keeps its old colour. A full colour change needs a new housing or a conversion housing.
